  To assemble, select a basket that you may pre-paint or decorate if desired. Fill it with items meaningful to you or to the recipient of the lamp, or appropriate for the room in which you plan on using it. Some suggestions include: small toys for a child, kitchen items for a cook, sports paraphernalia for an enthusiast, books for a den or study, and more. Let your imagination go wild!
  
  Next, you'll clamp the socket onto the basket's handle and decorate the shade if you'd like to do so. Screw in a light bulb, plug in the lamp, and enjoy it. And since no fasteners or glue are needed, you'll be able to change your lamp as the seasons or your mood change - or as the child grows. Other details are:
